He has a tendency to play violin until 5 in the morning when he’s “thinking.”

I didn’t attend university long enough to declare a major. It was incredibly boring. My professors were dull, my classmates even stupider. Genius goes unappreciated in academia, believe it or not, and that is why it is so difficult to find there. Many who attend university are seeking a niche—a place where they belong—rather than knowledge and work. Therefore, you encounter a great amount of idiots.

His face puts me off for numerous reasons. One of which being it is ugly. Another of which being his idiocy emanates from his very pores. Every single bit of him screams “moron.” I think I’ve yet to meet a more vacuous human being. His attempts at deduction are laughable at best; his comments are unnecessary and vapid. His demeanor belies the poor education of a comprehensive school and a third rate university. His face is that of a man who puts on a pair of latex gloves and immediately thinks he is qualified to be a forensic investigator when, in fact, he is anything but qualified. That is why his face annoys me so much.

It is scientifically proven that listening to music increases a person’s ability to concentrate without disturbing their thought processes. It’s been speculated that this works best with soft instrumental music, but in actuality it doesn’t matter what kind it is, as long as the listener is comfortable enough with it for it to be background music. For me, playing it myself is preferable to simply listening because my music is invariably better than anyone else’s. I can play without the movement affecting my thought processes because it’s all muscle memory at this point.

John keeps a lot of useless junk in his average little brain. If I need to know about the expanse of the universe, I consult him. I need to save room for what really matters.

Hmm, yes, like telling the difference between every perfume ever created, and knowing what kind of cigarette a person smoked by the smell of the ash left behind. Of course, that’s much more important.

Exactly.
